March 2010: The new Moana Pacific PVD
Pre-order your Regattare Moana Pacific PVDOur latest Regattare model uses New Zealand native Kauri (agathis australis) under the see-through glass back. Ancient Kauri (swamp Kauri) found in New Zealand is the oldest workable wood in the world. The trees have been buried and preserved underground in swamps for more than 45,000 years.
Giant Kauri trees were considered by Maori to be the kings of New Zealand forests. The Kauri is one of the largest and oldest growing trees in the world. Living Kauri trees are now protected.
Our logo is inlaid with New Zealand paua shell into the Kauri wood.

The case has a deep black physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating. It toughens the surface and gives a very unique look. This timepiece is powered by the well-known automatic MIYOTA movement. We combined the black case with a black/red Magrette signature strap.
Based on the regular Moana Pacific model with polished steel case, it has a thicker sapphire crystal and improved lumen on the dial. And upon request from our customers this model only features the hour and minutes hands.

Upon payment of 75 euro, you are guaranteed to be amongst the first to receive this watch. As usual, we produce this model in batches of 100 pieces up to a maximum of 500 pieces. We expect the first 100 pieces to sell quickly.
